Cookie Policy
Last updated April 25, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Aevix (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our marketing website and inside the Aevix application. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use related technologies such as local storage, session storage, and pixel-free analytics beacons. In this policy “cookies” refers to all of these.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Required to operate the Service. These cannot be disabled because the Service will not function without them.
- Supabase authentication session cookies
- CSRF double-submit cookies
- Vercel load-balancing and routing cookies
- Cookie-consent preference (so we remember your choice)
Analytics and product usage
Help us understand how the Service and our marketing site are used so we can improve them. Set only after you accept on the consent banner (where required by law).
- Vercel Analytics: Aggregate page-view counts and referrers. Retained 30 days.
- Vercel Speed Insights: Real-user performance measurements (Core Web Vitals).
- PostHog: Product analytics and session events inside the authenticated application. Self-hosted on EU infrastructure where applicable. We do not enable session replay on screens that contain protected health information.
Marketing attribution
We capture UTM parameters in your browser's local storage when you arrive from a marketing campaign so we can attribute sign-ups correctly.
3. Third-party advertising
We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag).
4. Managing your preferences
- Consent banner: Visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland are presented with a banner before any non-essential cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the cookie-consent preference in your browser.
- California residents: See our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page to exercise your CPRA rights.
- Browser controls: All major browsers let you block or delete cookies. Doing so may break authenticated features.
- Global Privacy Control: We honor the GPC signal as an opt-out of sale/share where applicable.
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, re-prompted via the consent banner.
